FIRST LADY DARSHEENA CASTINE

Darsheena Castine embodies faith, excellence, and service, living a life that exemplifies God’s divine purpose and timing. Her life’s philosophy, “This too shall pass,” reminds us that every trial is temporary, but God’s promises are eternal.

Lady Darsheena earned her bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and Management from Colorado State University. She furthered her expertise by earning an MBA in Human Resources Management from Louisiana State University - Shreveport. Committed to lifelong learning and leadership, she is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) in Organizational Leadership and Development, equipping herself to make an even greater impact in business, ministry, and community service.

Her path of service extended beyond education when she answered the call to serve her country in the United States Air Force. For six years, she served as a Civil Engineering Assistant gaining invaluable leadership skills while stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana and Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska. 

After being honorably discharged, she transitioned into a successful career in Human Resources. Lady Darsheena is the Principal Consultant and owner of PowerMind HR Consulting, where she helps small businesses with all aspects of strategic HR, ensuring effective workplace environments. 

Beyond her Human Resources expertise and military experience, Lady Darsheena is also a licensed realtor in Louisiana operating as the owner of Castine Realty Co. with plans to expand her services to New Jersey. She has a passion for assisting single mothers and veterans in achieving homeownership, using her own life experiences as a guiding force. In addition to her work as a licensed realtor, as the owner of Strength & Intelligence Real Estate Properties, she believes in achieving generational wealth through real estate investment. 

Professionally, she is known for her hard work, initiative and simply getting things done. In addition to her professional achievements, Lady Darsheena is proud to be a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., having joined in the Spring of 2018. She embodies the sorority’s commitment to public service, scholarship, and sisterhood, using these values to serve her community and church.

While she excels in her professional life, her greatest joy comes from her family. She is the devoted wife of Pastor Ritney A. Castine whom she faithfully supports personally and in his ministry. Together they share a loving son, Amari, which means “strength”—a quality that she possesses and seeks to instill in their child. As a young First Lady, Darsheena is deeply committed to the spiritual and personal growth of her church family, believing in the power of faith, resilience, and God’s perfect timing.

A traveler at heart, Lady Darsheena finds joy in exploring new cultures and experiences. Known for her determination, wisdom at a young age, and resilience, she is a beacon of strength and encouragement to those around her.

Her favorite scripture, Philippians 4:13, guides her life and ministry: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” She believes that no matter what she faces in life, God will give her the strength to overcome it, always remaining by her side.
