Scholarship Ministry

.Purpose

To provide financial assistance to the high school seniors of North Stelton AME Church who plan to attend college or technical school. This will be done through fundraising, donations/gifts from outside sources and church family donations which are collected every first Sunday. All funds are awarded via the Point System in accordance with the guidelines and requirements outlined within the By-Laws. Prospective graduates are informed of, encouraged to and supported in applying for scholarships that are available through community groups, corporations, fraternities and sororities .

Workshops are presented throughout the school year to assist freshmen, sophomores and juniors in preparing for their senior year. Workshops for seniors focus on financial aid and SAT prep. However, all students are welcomed to attend any workshops.
