God! Behold, I cannot speak for I am a child. But the Lord said unto me, Say
not, I am a child; for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and
whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak." Jeremiah 1:5-7
The Reverend Tracey Odum accepted the
call to preach the unadulterated word of God in January 2003. She preached
her trial sermon titled "A Call to Reveal, Repent and Return" under the
leadership of the Rev. Dr. Kenneth L. Saunders, Sr., at North Stelton
African Methodist Episcopal Church, located in Piscataway, New Jersey.
October 2003, Reverend Tracey was admitted into the New Jersey Annual
Conference and began her training at the New Jersey Conference Ministerial
Institute. On March 25, 2006, Reverend Tracey was ordained and consecrated
Deacon by the Right Reverend Richard Franklin Norris, Presiding Prelate of
the 1st Episcopal District African Methodist Episcopal Church. Reverend
Tracey is currently working to complete her fourth year studies at the
Ministerial Institute and look forward to being a candidate for Elder
Ordination in 2010.
Reverend Tracey is currently working towards her Associate Degree in Public
& Community (Social) Services and anticipates graduating in 2009/2010 from
Thomas Edison State College, Trenton, New Jersey. She is an anointed woman
of God dedicated to serving God and God's people. She not only preaches the
word of God, but with a compassionate heart and loving spirit, she assists
her Pastor in the ministry of Pastoral Care which consists of communion,
nursing homes, visiting hospitals and praying
for those in need. For the past 15 years, Reverend Tracey has served as
Advisor and Praise Team Leader of the Voices of Judah Praise Team Ministry.
She also serves as Director and Advisor to the Singles Ministry (S.1.N.C. –
Single One In Christ) and is a member of the Intercessory Prayer Ministry.
Currently, she works as an Administrative Assistant in the North Stelton
A.M.E. Church Administrative Offices. Reverend Tracey looks forward to
greater things that the Lord will do in her life. For truly, "Eye has not
seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which
God has prepared for those who love Him." 1 Corinthians 2:9.
