STELTON WELCOMES PROJECT RE-DIRECT
Ms.
Sharon Berry Baker, founder of Project Re-Direct Youth and
Family Services partnered with North Stelton AME on
September 18th to host a candlelight prayer vigil
for victims of child abuse. The vigil included gospel music
by God’s Rainbow Choir, praise dances by the Shirley A.
Saunders Praise Angels, as well as special prayers for
affected children. Piscataway Domestic Violence
Organization members were present and provided information
about abuse, how to prevent it, and what the community can.


In
addition to Ms. Berry Baker, Councilman At Large, Michael
Griffin and Mayor Brian Wahler were on hand to offer
encouragement and suggestions to prevent child abuse. For
