New Life Ministries - New Members
Orientation
The purpose of the New Members Class is
to provide an opportunity for new members and particularly
new Christians, to learn and understand the structure,
purpose and mission of the African Methodist Episcopal
Church (A.M.E.) including its history, its doctrine, what
the A.M.E. Church believes, and in whom we believe.
Scripture
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of
Christ; for it is the power of God unto salvation to
everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the
Greek. 17 For in it is the righteousness of God revealed
from faith to faith; as it is written, The just shall live
by faith. Romans 1:16-17, 13When Jesus came into the borders
of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Who do
men say that I, the Son of man, am? 19And I will
give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and
