Rev. John L. Chambers is a local elder in the First Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. 

A retired pastor, he now serves under the pastoral leadership of the Reverend Kenneth L. Saunders, Sr. at North Stelton A.M.E. Church in Piscataway.

As a member of the ministerial staff, Rev. Chambers assist with Pastoral Care Ministry and Communion to the sick and shut-in.
